Give Thanks!

Hello and welcome!! Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

I made a card to celebrate Thanksgiving (one of my favorite holidays).

The polka dots background, the word 'thanks' and the edge of the leave were gold heat embossed and the pretty colors on that leave were created blending some distress inks.

Here's my card...

Feliz Cumple!!

Hello and welcome!!

For today's post I'm sharing a colorful-summery birthday card I made for my brother.

I created my background scene using distress inks. The cute images from Sweet Stamp Shop were colored with colored pencils and stamped the greeting "feliz cumple" (which is a short way to say happy birthday in Spanish) using red and orange Memento ink.

Here's my card...

In Praise of Sunflowers

Hello and welcome!!

Today I want to share a card I made for my sister's birthday. She loves sunflowers, so the stamp set In Praise of Sunflowers from Power Poppy was perfect to create her card.

I colored the beautiful sunflower and the sky using watercolors and colored pencils. I die cut the word 'happy'  from orange and light blue cardstock and stamped 'birthday' with grey ink.

Here's my card...

Christmas Candlelight

Hello and welcome!!

For today's post I made a Christmas card, which is clean & simple, and one layer.

I used the stamp named Christmas Candlelight from Elizabeth Craft Designs, and colored it with colored pencils. The sentiment was stamped with black ink and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I mixed gesso and a bit of water for the white splashes.

Spring blooms!

Hello and welcome!!

Spring is in the air, yay!! So, I made a card with some fresh Spring blooms.

First, I die cut and glued the scalloped panel to my card base. Then die cut the heart from burlap paper and the flowers from patterned paper.

The sentiment was gold embossed on a piece of teal cardstock, then glued to the heart.

Finally, I embellished the flowers with gemstones and adhered them to the heart.

Here's my card...

Sealed with a Kiss!

Hello and welcome!

Today I'm sharing another love card, which is simple and easy to make.

First, I stamped the kisses using Versamark ink.
Then die cut a heart from white cardstock and stamped the 'muah!' using black ink. After that, stamped the red kiss and clear heat embossed it to create the glossy lips effect.
Finally, glued the heart in the center of the card base using foam adhesive.

Here's my card...

Here's a close-up of the lips so you can see the glossy effect.

Quilled Heart Flower

Hello and welcome!!

Here with more Valentine cards... This time I'm sharing a card using one of my favorite techniques: quilling.
First, I stamped the sentiment and the leaves and colored them with colored pencils.
Then die cut the flower vase four times, three from white cardstock and one from polka dots cardstock, and glued them together to give dimension to my flower vase.
Finally, I quilled a pink heart and glued to my card... Simple and beautiful!!

Here's my card...

It's a simple one layer card. I sponged the sky with distress ink and colored the sun with colored pencils.

I was inspired by Anita's card  at Muse Card Club Challenge #198.
I used the round/ circular element as inspiration. So, for my card the sun it's the circular focal image.

This is Anita's card:
